I have been mailing discs for years in bubble envelopes. A friend sent me a 45 in a box from Sleeve City, & it was such a nice package that I looked them up, & bought a few packs of these disc mailers. So it costs about $4 to mail a bubble envelope, because it considered to be a parcel/package. I was shocked when I went to mail the first disc in this flat mailer, because it only rang up 95 cents! The post office considers it to be a flat envelope. It actually provides much more protection to the contents than the bubble envelopes do, & costs less than 1/4 in postage. Our older discs in jewel boxes still have to be mailed in the bubble envelopes, but these are simply perfect for discs in flat jacket sleeves.
